"I bought two one for my back garden and one for the front the unit worked with the batteries but didn't deter the cats they sit by them when they are switched on. After two weeks the units didn't work anymore even with new batteries. I wouldn't recommend this product as the cats ignore it."

"ik kan niet zeggen of het werkt. het is mij onduidelijk hoelang het apparaat een signaal afgeeft. als de bewegingsmelder geactiveerd word komt er een rode verlichtig, die gaat na een seconde of 10 weer uit, dus ook het geluid stopt dan? in de gebruiksaanwijzing staat er niet veel uitleg. Wel staat er dat het op warmtebron reageert maar dat klopt niet, het reageert op beweging, warm of koud. De eerste dagen reageerde de beweginsmelder al als ik de keukendeur opende (+/-12meter) maar nu reageert hij pas als ik er een meter of 4 bij ben. Dus ik kan ook geen score geven, maar omdat het moet vul ik 'slecht' in. Paul"

"Assez déçu du produit, il fonctionne correctement sur une toute petite distance, pourtant j'ai mis des piles de qualité (donc chères). La portée est de maximum 6 m, contre 16 m annoncée, ce qui, en surface, ne couvre qu'une toute petite partie de mon jardin. Je vais chercher autre chose."

"De bewuste katten reageren er helemaal niet op. Heb al diverse plaatsen geprobeerd om te "richten" waar ze altijd overheen klimmen en mijn tuin binnen komen. Men geeft aan dat het zo'n twee weken kan duren dus nog even geduld hebben. Overigens zijn deze katten volgende week een week uit logeren..........dat is de beste oplossing ;-) Mogelijke tip: de reactie voor een feedback later versturen als er wordt aangegeven dat het een paar weken kan duren voor het product resultaat heeft. Nu weet ik nog niet of de kattenverjager mogelijk nog iets gaat doen."

"Attrape-couillon sur cet équipement, qui, utilisé avec des piles, n'est efficace que 1 dizaine de jours. Il aurait mieux fallu dans la présentation du produit dire, qu'il fallait absolument le raccorder à une prise de courant (chose non évidente dans certains endroits du jardin). Ou alors l'investissement devient très ruineux s'il demande un changement des 2 piles 9V, à cette fréquence de tous les 10 jours !!!!!"

"met enthousiasme de kattenverjagers geinstalleerd. had er maar 1 nodig maar wil er echt van die katten af dus bestelde er twee. gelijk accu's erbij want batterijen zijn toch zo leeg. na openen pakketje kun je het signaal op extra sterk zetten. ik dacht hoppa zet maar op extra sterk en weg met die katten. na installatie zag ik de eerste kat al langslopen. nou geen resultaat hoor. ik hoorde de sensor inschakelen maar de kat reageerde totaal niet. de volgende kat ging gewoon voor de sensor stil staan en op mijn mooie gazon poepen. echt balen hoor. en laten we eerlijk zijn ook niet goedkoop. ik wacht nog een week en dat hoop ik dat ik deze kan retour sturen."

"I put this item in the garden as per instructions. After the first rain the postman said he could hear it sounding continuously. I turned it off, switched it back on again and it hasn't worked since. It is just dead. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, how could I and I can't be bothered with hassle of sending it back. The screen has a water bloom on it and obviously water has entered it. Useless product."

"Unfortunately I bought two of these products one for use on mains and one with battery's. I have give them every chance to work only to find them completely useless. I have had as many as four cats in the garden at the same time, one basking in the sun only three feet in front of one of the PestBye advanced Cat Scarer."

"Following your comments I bought the Pestbye Cat Repeller (B0011) in the hope of preventing a recurrence of the avian carnage I witnessed last spring. On Friday I returned home to find the neighbour’s cat sitting contentedly in front of the unit. The motion sensor was being triggered every time the cat moved. I checked the batteries with a voltmeter (9.3 & 9.4 volts); pressing the test button produced a very high pitched whine with a clicking sound that suggests the unit is functioning. I would be grateful if you would arrange a refund."

"I purchased 2 Advanced Cat Scarers about 3 weeks ago to get rid of some squirrels digging up the lawn after being told they would be ok when i ordered them, as they use the same frequency for squirrles as well as cats . Unfortunatley even though only 3 weeksthey dont seem to be working as they are still digging up the lawn, sometimes right in front of the Cat Scarers to add insult to injury. I have now bought a Squiirel cage trap and trying that as well as the Cat Scarers now."

"Bought this as i was fed up with neighbours cats killling the birds that feed in our garden. delivery was prompt from time of order. big let down was when i got up the next morning to find the cat that regularly kills the birds to be lying in front of the "cat scarer". i tried moving the scarer to different areas of the garden but to no avail.thought i maybe had a deaf cat coming around but i have since had several other cats coming to this area. in short do not waste any money on buying this item as it does not work. if i had kept the box and invoice i would have sent it back"

"Both cat alarms have no effect at all on the cats I have visiting the garden. Initially wheb walking in front of eac sonic alarm, the screen would flash red. After the first rainfall they no longer do, which indicates to me they are no longer picking up the movement they depend on to operate. Total waste of money."

"It simply doesn't work, as noted in my earlier email. But, as requested, I am continuing to try it for 30 days. However, after three weeks, the cat is still spending his time sunbathing in my garden in full view of the cat scarer. We ourselves can hear it, so we know it's working. Has been a complete waste of money."
