"A leg fell off the stand the first time we used it as the weld couldn't take the heat. Not fit for purpose and potentially dangerous. At the price we paid for it, no-one is checking things like is the weld sound though."

"Disappointed, really. Product described as "cast iron" - it wasn't. Actually a thin mild steel stamping covered in misleading matt-black paint. I was too busy to send it back. I am now very wary of Primrose's product quality claims. Happy New Year... David Bates"

"The fire bowl was incredibly flimsy and poorly painted. It appeared a few weeks later reduced even further to £25 in the Xmas sale. Further evidence you were just dumping an inferior product."

"Don't be mislead with this product!! The web site indicates that this can be used on decked areas as a fire pit, but the instructions that come with the product States not to be used on decked area Also there is no way to secure the bowl to the stand/legs. This makes it unstable, and a risk if it was to be accidentally knocked. Overall we are disappointed with this product."
