"buying and delivery no problem. The problem is that it doesn't work ?? After I installed it I have at the moment 7 piles of poo within 6 feet of it. I actually watched a cat walk in front of it and pass by with no reaction at all. The light on the product lit up but it had no effect on the cat. I'll have to try something else."

"Do not buy if you want to use all year round, my 2 cat repellers stopped working and when I called Primrose they said they do not work in the winter when there is no sun or on cloudy days. It only states on the info that it needs sunlight to charge but I believe it should also say that they only operate during sunny days. I would not have purchased if I had been correctly informed. I have a mole repeller which is also solar powered and this is still working with no issues."

"Initially the repeller seemed to work the neighbours cats were walking along the fence instead of the garden but it's effectiveness soon wore off. In spite of frequently moving the stake I'm afraid the cats are still using my garden as a toilet so I wouldn't rate the product."

"The cats seem quite deterred by it. It senses movement quite acutely, covers a wide area and seems to have had quick results in deterring cats that have made the garden their territory for years. It didn't have a complete effect instantly but we immediately saw a reduction in the cats' loiter time and amount of 'digging'. More complete results were to be observed after about a fortnight to four weeks, as described in the documentation. Setup was entirely muppet-proof and it worked as soon as it was switched on. We did experiment with its location a bit by sticking it in a big plant-pot and moving that around. We could then see how the cats would move across the garden to try and get around it without it noticing them until we got it in the best location, which was nearest the flower beds that we wanted to protect and angled to cover the whole garden. It reminds me slightly of the sentry gun from Aliens but it doesn't run out of ammo. :)"

"Wij wonen in een buurt waar ontzettend veel poezen voorkomen. En ja, er lopen nog steeds katten in onze tuin... Maar ze voelen zich duidelijk minder op hun gemak dan voorheen. We begonnen met 2 toestelletjes, maar we bestelden er intussen al bij. Een nadeel is dat ze echt wel veel zonlicht nodig hebben om effectief te kunnen werken. Katten kiezen echter meestal weggetjes tussen struiken waar minder zonlicht valt. Bovendien duurt het vrij lang vooraleer de verjagers de 'geluidsflits' vrijgeven; intussen is de poes al lang voorbij gewandeld..."

"Ik zag in eerste instantie enkele katten wat dichter naar het toestel komen om het te bestuderen; maar vervolgens stapten ze weg. Sindsdien heb ik geen katten meer gezien in de buurt van het toestelletje. Tot nu toe lijkt de katten-verjager dus te doen wat het moet doen. Echter, ik kan het enkel in het weekend echt controleren want in de week ben ik overdag op het werk... Misschien is het dus nog iets te vroeg om victorie te kraaien?"

"Whilst it may work come Summer the unit is not working at all in, even the mild and sunny, Autumn/winter. It needs more light than is supplied naturally for many months of the year. This makes sense but the packaging doesn't highlight its limits. Primrose were very helpful in responding to my concerns."

"Von 5 Solar-Tiervertreiber funktionieren nur noch 2 so mehr oder weniger. Trotz mehrmaligen Aufladen der Geräten in der prallen Sonne, maschieren die Katzen wie davor durch den Garten, unmittelbar an den Geräten vorbei und verrichten ihr Geschäft. Ich würde diese Geräte nicht mehr kaufen. Vielleicht funktionieren Batteriebetriebene besser ?"

"Het controlelampje gaat branden als je binnen bereik van het apparaat komt, maar of het ding een onaangename toon voor dieren uitstoot valt nog te bezien. Het stinkt elke ochtend opnieuw naar verse kattepis. Ook als ik er met onze hond langs loop reageert die er niet op. "Doesn't really repel cats. One cat licked it and sat on it. Others just walk round it. Also the Pir sensor is triggered by almost anything. I can always see it on."

"We initially purchased two cat repellers with some doubt about their effectiveness but had to try to stop local cats from threatening the wild birds we were feeding in our garden. We initially boosted the built-in battery packs by charging them through the solar panels by placing the repellers under a lamp for half an hour. Over the next few days we looked and hoped for confirmation by the intruding cats that the supersonic alarms were having an effect. This was confirmed on several occasions by cautious movement and route deviation by all cats intruding. We ordered another two repellers to cover two blind spots. We have not seen any cats at all for over a week. These repellers work!"

"fonctionnement aléatoire d'un des appareils. Il doit y avoir un mauvais contact : il faut l'éteindre (off) et le rallumer (on) pour qu'il RE fonctionne ou il faut presser sur le boîtier pour donner le contact. Cela me coûterait plus cher de le renvoyer ... alors je suis passée à un achat de répulsif sur batterie. Bonjour l'écologie quand cela ne fonctionne pas !!!"
