"I am afraid it's useless. I stir the compost better with a stick of wood. First, it's difficult to push it in because the end is quite thick, and then when you pull it up it does not bring anything to the surface. I used to have a compost stirrer that did work wonderfully, but it was another make."

"No rating between "good" and "poor" which is where I would have put this. Mediocre is what I would say. The idea is good but I had difficulty forcing the "spike" through the compost if it was sharper or thinner it would be easier to use. Maybe my age and strength has something to do with it."

"Ich habe einen aehnlichen Kompostbeluefter, der aber nicht sehr stabil ist. Der Darlac ist wesentlich stabiler und mit weniger Kraftaufwand zu bedienen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und kann ihn guten Gewissens weiter empfehlen."

"Kompostbelüfter "entfaltet" sich nicht immer gleichmäßig beim zurückziehen.Eine Seite bleibt immer zugeklappt,dadurch erfolgt die Durchmischung nicht so gleichmäßig,wie erwartet.Allerdings habe ich auch z.B. Stroh und kleine Zweige mitkompostiert. Bei ausschließlich weichem Material funktioniert er vielleicht besser. Vielleicht brauche ich aber einfach nur noch mehr Übung...."

"Had wat langer gekunt, in de compost bak van 530Liter komt het handvat tot de bovenrand als je helemaal naar beneden in prikt. Bij prikken wat verder in de hoeken moet je helemaal gebukt staan waardoor je bijna geen kracht op de stok kunt zeten om deze omhoog te trekken."

"We were somewhat disappointed. My husband said it was probably 'alright' if the compost was very loose but if not then it was hard work trying to operate it. A strong lady gardener we have said that she found it impossible to push down and pull up so not too impressed and do not think we could recommend. Pity we had been looking forward to using this.."
