"I loved the idea of this compost bin as it appeared to marry aethestics, functionality and price well. In reality the quality is slightly variable (I bought two) but this was more than made up for by the customer service in sorting out a problem with one fo teh two I was sent. If I were selling these I would probably write and include my own set of instructions to make up for the manufacturer's lack of them. "

"The srews were poorly packed, initially got lost on opening and were found without any packaging. Time will tell if the wood is of sufficient quality to withstand the weathering."

"I was surprised that the holes were not pre-drilled to make it easier to construct. Also on the front of 2 of the side slats the wood was broken so the removable slats do not sit at an angle and the compost keeps falling out. However I am pleased with the look of them, and the delivery was very efficient. "

"we are relatively pleased with it ,excepting that the slats at the front , do not come off as easily as we were led to believe , they are very tight fitting , even though we assembled it as we were told to . when we come to move the compost we might try and hammer them off , but they don't come off easily at all . so in that respect , a bit dissapointing . sorry ."

"Delivered the next day - fantastic! The product itself is also excellent (and outstanding value). A minor design flaw is that the vertical wooden pieces, to which the side panels are screwed, need to be about 10 cm longer for a proper fit when building the bin. A couple of the screws were missing from the broken packaging.These packages had clearly been standing in the rain for months as there was a healthy growth of mould on some of the saturated timber. Let's hope the 15 year guarantee can cover the extra time in the rain! Even so, it all slotted together painlessly and quickly and the design provides an ingenious and effective solution to accessing the compost. They even look good."
