"It is adequate, but no more than that. Very heavy and awkward to position on brickwork to ensure adequate fixing strength. 14mm wall fixings are supplied with instructions to use a 12mm drill. Sales girl said to "wiggle the drill about a bit to make the hole bigger". Not good practice! Very poor and inadequate instructions. The awning is creased and remains so. Packing was minimal and polystyrene packing pieces were all smashed. It required a lot of adjustment to level the arms up after fixing (after taking great care in the fixing). The awning valance was punctured by bolts on the fixings. Gearbox rough and makes horrible noises when winding in the awning. Instructions to "spray with silicone or WD40". How to do that on an enclosed unit?"
