"The actual internal size was larger than the raised beds I had prevoisly bought although the external size was the same. This was due to the cutout grooves being cut half in inch further out. They are still usable but I think the size should be made clearer in Primrose descrcription"

"Was disappointed with the quality of this product. If I had more time on my hands, or had bought from somewhere local, I probably would have returned them. When I opened up the 3 individual bundles of wood for the beds many of the ends had snapped off before I even touched them. More snapped as i joined them together and others were cracked and I could see they would snap off if I even looked at them too much. The woods poor quality and not like in the photo's. Half of mine were green where they were so damp on arrival! Personally I wouldn't buy more or recommend this product."

"The only comment we would make is that the wood was saturated with water and because of this was swollen. This made assembly difficult until they had a chance to dry out. However they were at a marked down price so we has no real reason to complain. They are now installed and look good. Now it's up to us to make good use of them!"

"Excellent size (a little larger than advertised) and dead easy to put together. I wasn't expecting the wood to be green; I assume it is the wood preserver which is giving the wood its green hue. The wood was wet when I opened the packaging and if I had known, I would have opened the packets (I bought two) as soon as they were delivered - instead I didn't open them until about a week later when I was ready to put them together. Basically cheap and cheerful and look great in the garden - just what I wanted."

"Bed was suppose to be 1m x 1m. Unfortunately it was 1m and 10cm! We bought it because it had measurements which could fit in our garden. I had to cut 10cm from each plank + chisel it. On top of it 2 planks were damaged. We couldn't find any other 1m x 1m raised bed on internet that is why we kept it and cut it. Plus side, after cutting it the raised bed liner actually fit."

"Price and delivery excellent. The beds assemble easily and are sturdy when completed as well as looking good when positioned. On the down side the delivery note is unclear showing a possible 15 packages to be received when indeed there were only 7. On several of the side members the wood had broken away from the notch leaving a weaker joint. The damage could easily have happened in transit."

"My original purchase of a raised bed arrived damaged and the delivery of it was poor, as the raised bed packages had been dumped on the concrete path and the doorbell had not been rung, although we were at home. My telephone exchanges with Dan, led to the rapid delivery of another raised bed (next day), which was excellent, however one piece was slightly damaged, but not enough to warrant replacement. The delivery was. unhappily. as per the first one. Dan was extremely helpful and rapidly tried to find a solution to the original problem. I cannot praise him enough. I think that the problems caused were probably due to mishandling in transit. as other members of my family who have ordered from you have not had the same problem with damage. I do. however. applaud the courtesy and rapid attempt on Dan's part to remedy the situation. Susan Rhodes "

"This last order was unsatisfactory, as unfortunately part of one of the wooden panels was broken. As it was sent to Cheshire (and I have just arrived back from there) I was able to see it for myself. It also looked inferior to my other purchases, and the wood did not look treated! "I have been very pleased with my wooden vegetable planter. It arrived promptly and was easy to put together. The only problem i had was that a few pieces of wood did split when putting together requiring a bit of glueing. It was also made sturdier by using a screw on each corner so that it does not come apart. Other than that, they are in place and ready for planting!"

"We received the raised garden beds on time and erected them and they now look very good indeed. It's a shame they were nearly all damaged when we opened them. The end pieces where they were cut out had been broken off and I had to glue them and staple them together before they could be erected. "

"The delivery was ightening fast, the item was good for the money an excellent size thickness and depth though there was a split at the join which caused the wood break off when putting together which was super easy, a bit of external miltipurpose glue seems to have done the trick for the money paid excellent little veg bed. looks good too."

"I've marked these as a three because the wood does seem very soft. Tools are definitely required as it's impossible to slot them together without a hammer. They didn't come with instructions so I had to go back to the website picture to work it out as not all the pieces are the same. Several weak spots either splintered or came off completely which I stuck back but don't feel as if I should have to do this. They didn't arrive as quickly as the website indicated and had been in plastic for so long mould had started to form between the planks, they were very damp. The growing space is 1m sq. but as the edges overlap I think the description should include both measurements. The beds I bought were reduced to £14.95 each and I bought six. The minimal p&p is unrivalled anywhere else but they are only just worth that amount. If I had paid the standard price and bought deeper more expensive ones I would have been asking to send them back. Maybe in time they will stand the test of use but at the moment I'm not sure."

"I think the product is perfectly fine for an allotment and with a lick of paint might scrub up for a place in a garden, but don't expect too much.... and neither should you for the money! Well worth a tenner and the delivery was very speedy. "

"the box here should be titled "your" and not "you" 1. The quality of the wood that was sent does not reflect the quality shown in the advert. 2. There are no assembly instructions but we worked it out in the end 3. The "inset" edges do not slot together easily so we had to use a wooden mallet. This resulted in several broken edges. Will have to invest in a sander. 4.Overall the product is good."

"They arrived damp and covered in mould, not helped by the fact that I wasn't able to unwrap them immediately. They are drying nicely and i shall make them up soon. They are goof value for money I think, compared to others I have priced."

"Not bad quality. One item broken(big knot right through,which,when items unpacked,fell in half). Some of the wood was 'tatty' looking. No assembly instructions. No problem for me,but some might be baffled. Being in small strips which lock together probably gives it a bit more rigidity,but wood with big knots in it should NOT be used - see above. David Wallin"
