"It does what it says it would do - it holds the cat spikes firmly on the top of the gate, unlike some adhesives which do not adhere to this plastic so easily. It seemed to me to be surprisingly cheap although I am no expert in these matters."

"De speciaal bestelde " pink grip " lijm voor bevestiging van de klimbeveiliging gaat onder invloed van de temperatuur losser zitten in de aanhechting dan direct na het aanbrengen daarvan het geval was. Jammer ondanks het secuur uitgevoerde "plakwerk" waarbij eerst de hele ondergrond vooraf schoon-droog en ontvet was. Voor mijn gevoel blijft alles maar net op zijn plek zitten, ik durf er niet echt aan te trekken. Bovendien past de lijmkoker NIET qua lengte in de bij ons in Nederland voorhanden zijnde kitspuithouders. Ik heb mijn tube dan ook moeten inkorten in de lengte ( dit gaat gemakkelijk doordat de tube uit hardkarton bestaat ) grt. André"

"Très très mécontent de ce produit. Cette colle est rose et le tube est trop grand pour le pistolet mastic que nous avons, qui est une norme standard... De plus, par défaut, cocher la colle proposée lors de l'achat des bandes de clôture met le même nombre que le nombre de bandes voulues, ce qui est inadmissible car il en faut beaucoup moins..."

"Die Funktion ist sehr gut. Die Verbindung der PP-Mauerstreifen mit Spikes mit verputzter, körniger Maueroberfläche hält ausgezeichnet. Nachteil ist die intensive altrosa Farbe => diese scheint durch meine transparenten Mauerstreifen und passt nicht mit der gelben Fassadenfarbe zusammen."

"- Lorsque j'ai voulu l'insérer dans mes pistolets à mastic, celui ci n'a pas pu rentrer car beaucoup trop grand. Apparemment votre tube n'est pas aux normes françaises ... Ce qui fait que j'ai dû faire une découpe du tube pour l'utiliser, mais celle ci n'a pas bien fonctionné et a coulé à l'arrière et non devant ... Donc pas pratique pour l'étaler. - Autre remarque, la couleur rose du mastic n'est pas très jolie pour les pics transparents que j'ai achetés. Du coup, on voit du rose à travers. Ce n'est pas grave mais du coup j'aurai pris les pics de couleurs blanches ... - La colle ne semble pas être aussi bonne qu'indiqué sur le site. En effet, plusieurs bandes de pics ce sont décollées, j'ai dû les recoller avec un mactic/colle que j'avais et qui a bien fonctionné ..."

"I tried to glue the strips to the top of my greenhouse to stop pigeons landing. After a couple of days, the strips fell off. The weather was very warm when I glued the strips - too warm perhaps? I will try again in cooler weather to see if this works!"

"Because i ordered clear spikes then the adhesive will likely be visible! Used adhesive for a garden ornament that broke and although the tube is supposed to fit a standard gun the adhesive tube was too large for the gun. And the pink is visible on the ornament, shame it doesn't dry clear!"

"Because the top of my fence was warped due to old age (a bit like me!) I found the glue wasn't holding the strip in place in all areas, so I had to use nails as well. The glue was also very thick and I couldn't spread it very well onto the strips. The message on the side was a little daunting - not for use by amateurs!"

"Excellent sticking power on top of my wall, just used a small quantity as i only had a small section of wall to place the spike strips on, so I have wasted rather a lot of it. It would be nice if you could supply a smaller tube. "

"Not very impressed with this adhesive. 4 days later the strips could be easily peeled away from the brickwork they were attached to....12 strips being stolen. The adhesive could then be quite easily peeled off the smooth back of the strips, so just not adhered enough, may as well have used bubblegum...infact bubblegum may well go off harder than pink grip. Use screws for the spike strips....or hubba bubba."
