"Bought two of these. One had a minor manufacturing fault in that the spring locking clip, which engages when the door drops, had been positioned slightly too low. However, could still be made to work. Very good value for money. Had these traps two weeks and still no rats caught! Perhaps they've gone away?"

"Met een kleine technische aanpassing, inmiddels 6 ratten gevangen binnen 1 week. De technische aanpassing betreft de stangen ("rods") die achter elkaar geplaatst moeten worden; doordat deze (uiteraard) rond zijn verschuiven deze te vlug; een platte kant aan1 stang veilen voorkomt dit probleem."

"Dear Primrose, I have had a problem with the 'rat cage trap'. I found the track was too big or the door too small to allow the door to side down square. Which meant the door was sticking at the top of the track, allowing the rodent to escape. My solution was to insert a match stick at one side of the track, This allowed the door to slide down the track correctly. Regards William King "
