"We have used this item on our dog since recieving it. we switch it on when in the car as she barks with excitement on a trip for her walks. It works fairly well. It has only been switched on for about four houres in total use and now the batteries seem to be flat as the on/off key has no effect. I need to get new batteries for it but am reluctant to spend if they only last about four hours in use."

"The product was received next day and we thought great only thing is - despite what ever setting it's on the dog pays no attention to it. The collar beeps as it should to show activation but I am wondering if there may be a fault with the collar or our dog is just stupid :-) "

"The item arrived in good time. It worked as soon as we put it on out Border collie but as you may know they are very intelligent dogs so after 24hours she got used to the noise and barked through it. This product i think is more suited for a less intelligent dogs if thats possible."

"Having previously tried an anti-bark device (one of those that squirts citronella) which didnt work - my dog realised if she barked continuously she could empty the container so I thought lets try this one which is battery operated i.e. not emptied so quickly and a fraction of the cost. Put it on my dog - worked a treat for a couple of days - then unfortunately my beautiful intelligent welsh border collie seemed to develop a liking for the ultra sonic noise so barking continues!"

"Excellent service. There has been a slight improvement with the barking but not as much as we had hoped. We cannot hear the high pitch noise so we cannot actually tell if the collar is working."

"Collar appears to be comfortable on the dog - never sure whether it is working or not - dogs still barks occassionally but I think it has reduced the length of time he barks for."

"Thank you for your email regarding the anti barking collar. Unfortunately I have not been able to try it yet as there were no batteries. We have built our very lively puppy Romeo a kennel and pen in the garden but when we put him in it he just barks his head off. "Varying results. One of my dogs was and is absolutely terrified of it after only wearing it for 20 mins. Cant consider trying it on her again. The other one not really bothered by it so its hard to say."

"Thankyou for the quick despatch of the item i ordered,I was very pleased with fast delivery. Unfortunately where the barking collar might work for other peoples dogs it is having no effect on my little horror who proceeds to bark even more over the high pitched tone of the collar!!! I will persevere a bit longer with using it but dont think it is going to have any effect on her unfortunately, but thanks again and im sure it will help a lot of other yapping dogs ou there. kind regards karyn.."

"This score is not a criticism of the product. My dog is a 9 year old Jack Russell Terrier and I have been her owner for just 5 weeks. I think she is just too old to re-train, and wearing the collar makes absolutely no difference to her barking! She continues to bark when people approached us out walking, whenever someone comes into my home, and when she sees children. I think if she had been just 1 or 2 years old, the collar would have made a difference to her behaviour, but for her, it is just not working."
