"It does what it says on the box and have seen some improvement, yes it only works when solar panel is in direct sunlight and does not retain any charge (like solar garden lights will), but with this warm weather it has been a great help to fish. The negative has to be that you must not walk infront of panel or it stops, pass across it for a second and it stops. So cross between it and the sun and you have to move it to a fresh location and it's starts again. So very temperamental"

"I love it! I bought this one as another reviewer who also lives in Scotland gave it a good review. It's true, it does only work when the sun is out, whether fully or peeping out from behind a cloud - the more sun there is the more it works at producing bubbles.On bright but sunless days it doesn't work, which is to be expected. At the same time as I installed my pump I discovered that it's much more efficient to remove blanket weed by "twizzling" round a stick like candyfloss, rather than trying to rake it out. So between the two my pond is looking much healthier. One of our newts came over to sip at the bubbles.....! SO now we get all excited when the sun comes out, and head over to the pond to move the solar panel round , listen to the gentle humming of the pump and enjoy the bubbles!"

"Does exactly what it says even during cloudy weather. This is the second time I have bought this product. Last one lasted 3yrs (being left outside all year round) which I thought was excellent. I read all the reviews before buying the new one and I don't understand what the people giving negative reviews were expecting from the product. I live in Scotland and think the Oxygenator is excellent value for money, works well and my first one lasted longer than I expected."

"I thought the wire from the solar panel to the pump was much longer than it is. My pond is not in a very sunny corner, and the wire won't stretch far enough to put the panel where the sun shines. I thought the details said the wire was 5 metres long. I haven't seen any bubbles yet. Can you advise on how I could lengthen the wire? Do you provide an extension cable? Peter Hains"
